The 1968 film 2001: a Space Odyssey is rightly regarded as a classic and will consistency cause viewers to question the beginnings of Man. Marketed as a science fiction film it does nonetheless has deep philisophical undertones, which to thinkers, such as me, gives cause to question the accepted views of our beginnings.
